Three years since the launch of our popular Cadence range of rods, reels, and lines, and a year since its debut at the Irish Fly Fair, it was gratifying to see the positive reception from our customers. Many returning visitors, who had first encountered the brand last year, were enthusiastic about their experiences with Cadence products.
Introducing a new brand to the market is never easy, but our confidence in the product, honed over three years of development, using the best material and manufacturing has proved well-founded. The satisfaction of our customers, many of whom expanded their Cadence collections this weekend, was a testament to our efforts, and of all the things I've achieved during my time in the business, this is most definitely the highlight..
The strong connections forged with new and existing customers were particularly rewarding. While we were confident in our products and customer service, it’s the endorsement of our customers that truly validates our innovative approach. Despite a relatively modest stand, we were able to provide a warm welcome, expert advice, and a passionate team, helping everyone who came around to view and trial our products.
The response at the Irish Fly Fair mirrored our vision for Cadence. As with Partridge in the early 2000s, we aimed to deliver high-quality angling gear at an affordable price point. Our direct selling model allows this and passes so much value back to the customer. This formula has proven successful once again, and we’re excited to see the continued growth of the Cadence brand.

We have a whole host of new products on the horizon but first the team must put them through a season o testing, a rough job but someone has to do it. Only after this testing is complete with any new products come to the marketplace and this will be 5 years after the introduction of our original products.
